To catch a celebrity in New York is often the hope of many. To party with them on New Year’s Eve in one of the most unique venues to host a New Year’s event, a bowling center being transformed into a nightclub, is almost a priceless experience.
For the grand finale of 2004, Leisure Time Bowl will be transformed for one incredible night into a club resembling the interiors of Ian Schrager and the W hotels. Teaming up with celebrities and sports figures (we’ve been told 30 confirmed as of Dec 21st), gathered together with hundreds of NYC’s tastemakers – this event will definitely be one to blab about after the 31st. Perhaps you will also find that celebrity you’ve been watching on screen for so many years.
Among the hosts of this event are Federico Castelluccio (The Sopranos), Caroline Rhea (Christmas with the Kranks), Elias Koteas (Collateral Damage), Billy Wirth (MacArthur Park), and Kevin Dillon. DJ, Charles "the Mixologist" formerly of WPGC FM Washington DC, will be manning the decks along with another superstar DJ whose name will be kept a secret for now (you won't be disappointed).
The event boasts 6 hours of premium open bar from 9 pm onwards while being sponsored by FRIS Vodka, Carlsberg and Budweiser. Some superb passed hors d’oeuvres along with a gourmet dinner, dessert and breakfast buffets will also be offered throughout the night - we’re talking filet mignon, tuna tartar and sushi.
