Event organizer Jann Yogman isn't one to play around when it comes to New Year's Eve. It's his 9th annual NYE party and each year he manages to bring together a great venue, fine cuisine and an amazing crowd. Past venues? American Park in Battery Park, 200 Fifth Club in the Toy Building and the Hudson River Club, to name a few.
Any guarantees? A very important one, we'd say, as in 1:75 bartender-to-guest ratio. And let's not forget about the Krispy Kreme donuts being served late-night...
Jann's parties are known as the place to be for young professionals in their 20s and 30s on New Year's, and this year you get to party with 900 of them at the grand event, the inaugural one at the 14,000 sq. ft. Providence, a space that has only hosted holiday parties and hasn't opened to the public. It boasts 3 levels and a
smooth and classy touch that's very hard to find in New York clubs these days.
You will start the night by enjoying a 5-hour open bar from 9 PM to 2 AM as well as
hors d'oeuvres and food stations from 9 PM to 11:30 PM customized for New Year's Eve by Chef Michael Kaphan. With several bars scattered throughout the club and one bartender for every 75 guests, access to drinks will be quick and easy. At midnight, you will enjoy a champagne toast with the rest of the revelers as big screen and plasma TVs carry live coverage of the Times Square Ball Drop. Lou Smith aka DLJ is your man behind the music for the evening, pumping your favorite party tunes.
Young professionals in their 20s and 30s. Great mix of couples and singles with an even male/female ratio.
Lou Smith (aka DLJ) will be spinning a fine mix of hip-hop, R&B, house, old school, 80s, 90s and your favorite dance classics.
Dress nice. It's New Year's Eve!
